SLB1250 1250mm dia. Navigation Buoy

SLB1250 1250mm dia. Navigation BuoyThe SLB1250 has proven it's superior performance in many parts of Australia for long range river and sea navigation.

The base is molded in a one-piece strong, colored, durable polyethylene - filled with highly buoyant polyurethane and UV stabilized for resistance to sunlight.

The strong, lightweight polyethylene buoy top is molded in standard IALA high visibility colors and shapes.

A powder-coated extension pole may be supplied to increase the focal height of the Sealite lantern, and for superior night vision, the SLB1250 may be fitted with a choice of one, two or three nautical mile LED lanterns.

Brass inserts provide a secure mounting for top, tower and signs. A 316-grade stainless-steel eyebolt passes through the base providing a strong mooring chain attachment point. In addition, all hardware and fittings are 316-grade stainless-steel.

POSEIDON-1750 1750mm dia. Ocean Buoy

POSEIDON-1750 1750mm dia. Ocean BuoyThe Sealite POSEIDON-1750 Buoy is manufactured from UV stabilized virgin polyethylene, has been specifically designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, and operate reliably with minimal maintenance.

The POSEIDON-1750 boasts a huge 23mm wall thickness, 2.5 meter focal height (up to 3 meters with extension) and is 1.75 meters in diameter - making it one of the toughest polyethylene buoys on the market.

Ports worldwide are realizing the advantages of polyethylene buoys over traditional steel models.

The POSEIDON-1750 is a lightweight, low-maintenance, cost-effective approach to traditional floating aids. The buoy consists of 3 parts; the flotation section, the mid-section and a navaid (top) section. This enables the individual coloring of each section during the molding process to meet IALA recommendations for specific installations, and cost-effective transportation.

The top section incorporates the solar modules, batteries, LED beacon and insertion fittings to accommodate top marks and accessories. This section is fitted with up to 60watt solar modules, charging up to 140Ah batteries. A watertight 316-grade stainless steel battery access door protects the internal components and connections of the unit. The Sealite SL125 LED lantern is readily fitted to the top of the buoy, and a 316-grade stainless steel grab rail is fitted below the top section - allowing for easy maintenance.

The float section contains internal stainless steel cross-braces, linking both sets of lifting and mooring eyes. This ensures mooring and lifting stresses are evenly shared across the structure. After ballast is added, the bottom section is filled with closed-cell polyurethane. The standing platform on the surface of the float section is molded with an anti-slip pattern, and conforms to CSIRO specifications.

NAUTILUS-2200 2200mm dia. Ocean Buoy

NAUTILUS-2200 2200mm dia. Ocean BuoyThe NAUTILUS-2200 is a robust, rotationally-moulded polyethylene ocean buoy designed for offshore port and coastal applications.

Ports worldwide are realizing the advantages of polyethylene buoys over traditional steel models.

The buoy is rotationally-moulded by Sealite from UV-stabilized virgin polyethylene, and has a 2.2mtr float diameter and 3.2mtr lantern focal height. Lantern focal height may be increased up to 4mtrs.

Built in a 2-part modular design, the buoy can be setup in any IALA recommended assembly, and consists of a high-visibility float section with non-slip tread, and a tower section to support considerable payload.

The twin lifting and mooring eyes are interconnected by stainless steel tie bars through the hull structure – offering enormous strength and superior longevity of the navaid.

Five (5) buoys can be shipped in a 40ft container economically to almost any destination.

The Sealite Nautilus-2200 is one of the largest buoys available to incorporate a 1-piece rotationally-moulded hull section, and represents exceptional value for port operators around the world.

The Nautilus-2200 is one of the only ocean buoys to incorporate convenient forklift access points to safely maneuver the assembly as required.

TRIDENT-3000 3000mm dia. Ocean Buoy

TRIDENT-3000 3000mm dia. Ocean BuoyThe TRIDENT-3000 is one of the largest rotationally-molded buoys available, with a float diameter of 3 meters and lantern focal height of up to 5 meters.

The float section of the TRIDENT-3000 is built from four (4) roto-moulded quadrants, which fasten together to form an incredibly robust 3 meter wide float section standing 1.8m tall. Each quadrant is molded from UV stabilized virgin polyethylene, and has a 12mm wall thickness. In addition, each section is filled with closed-cell polyurethane, which prevents the ingress of moisture in the unlikely event of damage.

A 316-grade stainless-steel mooring pole runs through the centre of the assembly, to which the tower section is fastened. Two large lifting eyes aid in buoy mooring and periodic servicing.

The four-sided tower section of the TRIDENT-3000 provides unsurpassed strength, and is fabricated from 316-grade stainless-steel – providing an estimated lifespan in excess of 20 years.

Rotationally moulded paneling is fitted to the outside of the tower section to create a large, colored visual area for marking. The replaceable paneling also simplifies cardinal marking, and gives operators flexibility in stocking spare components. No part of the structure requires painting at any stage of the products lifespan.

An integrated ladder with harness attachment points runs vertically up the tower to the top platform. The internal top operational platform is designed to provide a safe working area for contractors.

The buoy is lightweight, and can be rested upright on the vessel deck for ease of deployment and final inspection.

A large counterweight offers exceptional stability in a variety of exposed regions.

The TRIDENT-3000 can be supplied in all IALA colors, and side-paneling is available to aid in clear lateral marking – creating a huge visual area.
