Bottom Anchoring

We specialize in securing docks and floats to the earth with embedment type anchors, either Helix type anchors for penetrable soils, or eye-bolts drilled into solid substrate. In most situations a permit is not required for these types of anchors.
Advantages of Bottom Anchoring
  • Easier permit process
  • More holding power than pilings
  • Greater upward tension holding
  • Eliminates damage due to ice
  • Less obstruction for boaters
  • Less wear on floats
  • Eliminates boats having to be spaced between pilings
