Bottom Anchoring
|
We specialize in securing docks and floats to the earth with embedment type anchors, either Helix type anchors for penetrable soils, or eye-bolts drilled into solid substrate. In most situations a permit is not required for these types of anchors. |
Advantages of Bottom Anchoring
- Easier permit process
- More holding power than pilings
- Greater upward tension holding
- Eliminates damage due to ice
- Less obstruction for boaters
- Less wear on floats
- Eliminates boats having to be spaced between pilings
